We provide the whole package: copywriting, voice artist casting, voice recording, voice directing, ad production, music and jingle sourcing or composition. We will also, however, provide any part or parts of this package as separate services. We achieve this either by providing the services ourselves, or with zero overhead outsourcing, in other words, we charge our rates for recording, production and directing services, and just add the rates for voice artists and copywriting without any overhead. It's a win-win-win situation!
The PIT Productions studio boasts two acclaimed composers whose work is not limited to a style or genre, but designed to fit the brief. The work we have produced in the past ranges from Atmospheric, Comic and Lively through to Hard Edged, Upbeat and Aggressive. Across cultural borders we have composed and produced Chinese, West African and Arabic music with extremely positive results. In the Arabic music's case the music was for an Arabic market - a fact that made us quite nervous about the project before we did it, and equally proud after we managed to pull it off successfully.
Foley Art always conjures up images of mad "sound scientists" huddled around some kind of noise creating object with an assortment of different microphones and manic looks. At PIT Productions we've even gone one step further, and specially built our studio with a bathtub in the booth, for the great water based foley possibilities it provides.
Final mix and sound treatment is no different. We always spend the extra time to shape dialog from camera mics word for word, even syllable for syllable, to get it as clean and clear as a studio recording. Some of the techniques we use for noise cancellation we have pioneered and fine tuned ourselves - you'll have to go very far to achieve the same results for the same budget.
